First things first—you'll need a Midjourney or Niji Journey membership. They may have different websites and Discord servers, but they actually come bundled as a 2-in-1 package, so you're covered with either.

Setting V5 as Default
To switch to Niji Mode V5, just type /settings in Discord and select Niji Mode V5—easy as that.

Explore Different Styles
Niji comes with several unique styles you can experiment with using the --style command. Here’s a quick rundown of what each one brings to the table:

• --style expressive – A mature, dramatic look with a hint of Western influence.
• --style cute – Playful and whimsical, perfect for adorable characters.
• --style scenic – Focuses on rich environmental details for immersive scenes.
• --style original – Experience Niji V5 as it was first released with its initial style.

Default Style in Niji V5

Niji V5’s default style is a versatile, all-purpose illustration style—perfect for when you want artwork “in the style of X.” I find it great for achieving a balanced look that adapts well to different themes and inspirations.
